In order to further accelerate the development of new product lines of the Specialty Products’ Business group, we are currently looking for a Junior Business Development & Product Manager AC&C
As Junior Business Development & Product Manager AC&C you are a member of the Agfa Materials Advanced Coatings & Chemicals group, active in materials for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Printed Electronics (PE) industry.
Assisted by the business manager, R&D project leaders, application specialist and sales, you will develop a product portfolio that meets the customer needs. You monitor the entire product lifecycle of the product portfolio. You actively contribute to further developing AC&C activities, in existing and new markets and distribution channels.
As Junior Business Development & Product manager you are responsible for:
Monitoring the product portfolio that meets the customers’ needs, from conceptual product development till end of life.
Working closely together with customers and sales managers in order to capture/understand customer needs, prioritizing opportunities and translating them to a ROI project plan.
Monitoring all product development activities and AC&C Business targets and escalating when needed.
Product launch, in line with the AC&C business targets. You work out the product positioning (PPPP), USP’s, branding – and marketing strategy. You are a member of the Product Line Team.
Actively supporting the sales organization with the implementation of the marketing strategy, further development of markets and distribution channels for the Ac&C Product Lines.
Actively supporting/ managing projects those contribute to business development.
You have a Master degree in Engineering (electromechanics) with proven commercial/business interest (first sales experience or MBA) or you have a Master degree in Economics, Marketing with a strong background in material technology.
You have 3 years of experience with in a B2B environment.within an international and multi-disciplinary context.
Knowledge of Printed Electronics is an advantage.
You are affiliated with customers and have a good business sense. You can translate this commercial information, in due time, into an R&D environment.
You are customer and business driven.
You have experience with project management; you are able to deliver the scope within time and budget.
You are a result-oriented and accountable team player.
You have good inter-personal skills.
You have excellent communication skills (oral, written).
You are able to deal with change, you have a flexible mindset.
You are eager to learn.
You have good knowledge of English. Any other language is an asset.
You are willing to travel for shorter periods (+/- 20%).
