As Claims Analyst you analyse claims in respect of client medical costs.
You deal with hospitalisation invoices for employees in international companies and intergovernmental institutions.
You analyse reimbursements and assess, code and calculate reimbursements using a computerised claims processing system.
You are attentive to inaccuracies in the files and communicate them to your team leader/departmental head.
You pass the correct information on to your colleagues.
You have an active knowledge of English which you are not afraid to use in interactions with both internal and external parties. And you have a good understanding of French and Spanish, German, Portuguese or Italian.
Are you a foreign language speaker with a passive knowledge of Dutch? This qualifies you as well.
You have a good knowledge of medical information due to a background of trained nursing/occupational therapy/physical therapy/other (para)medical training, medical office management..
You are prompt, precise and good with numbers.
You are capable of making decisions for the files entrusted to you for both the medical and cost aspects
You can familiarize yourself quickly with computer applications.
You are sociable and handle confidential information with discretion.
