Operations Manager (m/f)
The Operations Manager is responsible for the development and performance of Operations activities in Benelux and France. He/she directs and provides leadership to the operational team and helps establish strategies to im-prove the service and efficiencies. He/she manages, directs and coordinates Operations initiatives in accordance to corporate strategic plans and profit objectives and reports to the Operations Director.
Contribute actively in the development of strategy and business plans, ensuring the inclusion and 'buy-in' throughout the business
Determine the objectives for Operations and monitoring the progress
Assist in the development and implementation of tactical operational plans and assure the accomplishment of associated goals
Setting up of a vendor network in Benelux and France
Supporting the roll out of new services and new customers in Benelux and France
Provide direction to the Operations team that is aligned with our corporate culture
Develop opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and follow up to ensure completion / implementation
Develop and maintain strong tactical relationships with key industry contacts
Interact with prospects and customers to develop relationships that result in retention and future sales
Provide accurate and timely feedback regarding performance
Directly supervise Operational team
Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of professional experience
Proven sustained success leading a diverse operational team
Comprehensive working knowledge of the fleet management industry in Benelux
Knowledge of the processes around maintenance, accident management and vendor networks in the Benelux.
General knowledge of LCV, HDV and upfitting will be an advantage
Proactively mentor and develop direct reports, getting involved in the day-to-day running and development of the business
Approachable communication style, dedicated to building relationships with all employees
Possesses strategic forethought with a proactive and dynamic approach to problem solving
Committed to deliver solutions, effectively delegating where required
Able to think clearly under pressure and deliver to a consistently high standard across all functional areas
Leading by example, motivating and inspiring others for success
Has a collaborative approach and welcomes ideas
Highly professional at all times
Inspires confidence by sharing knowledge and experience
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
