Test domain lead/Test manager - IT Testing Competence Center
You spread your management tasks evenly over two departments: IT TCC CI & CX Enterprises and Test Management.
As the Manager of IT TCC CI & CX Enterprises, you’re responsible for the relationship with Domain Management and all relevant test trajectories and improvement initiatives.
Together with Domain Management, you discuss and align:
- the roadmap and the expectations it places on TCC;
- the improvement initiatives for tests on the short, mid and long term.
You fine tune the BNP Paribas Fortis test strategy to your domain. And you make tests more cost efficient.
You ensure a correct follow-up of the budgets for all TCC test activities.
You collaborate smoothly with TCC suppliers.
You coordinate and/or fulfil improvement initiatives within TCC.
As Test Manager, you take projects under your wing. You’re the point of contact throughout the entire test process.
You determine the test strategy and check to see your team applies it correctly.
You plan and perform the follow-up of your projects.
You direct a team of testers and test coordinators. Their mission? To optimise tests.
You define the test-acceptance criteria.
You’re the point of contact for all stakeholders who are involved (the project leader, delivery manager, release manager and IT manager). You inform them of the progress of the tests.
You ensure communication between all the parties involved is smooth and effective. You give them a clear picture of the project quality expected.
You fulfil these minimum requirements:
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree hanging on your wall.
You have at least five years of experience in IT software testing, including management, performance and reporting.
You have already led a department in an operational capacity.
You’re a seasoned people manager and coach — with experience dealing with remote workers.
You communicate smoothly and diplomatically. Your presentations are clear and convincing.
You’re highly precise, with a critical, analytical spirit.
You have excellent organisational skills.
You perform well under pressure, proactively tackling problems.
You speak perfect Dutch and/or French. You express yourself fluently in English.

you’re at home in the financial world;
you know HP Quality Centre, or the equivalent tools, like the back of your hand;
you know your way around test automation and performance testing;
you’re familiar with hardware and infrastructure;
you have an ISTQB certificate for software testing, or plenty of experience with the material.
