Job Description


Your role and main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

*Create the overall design - including a prototype implementation - of a migration solution that typically requires the cooperation of multiple software components including own tools, frameworks and libraries and 3rd party products;
*Understand the requirements for such new or existing product or migration solution and take technical responsibility for the final product;
*Create and update specifications that can get implemented by developers;
*Develop the basis of runtime libraries and frameworks, both as a proof-of-concept and as a framework to get developers started;
*Create the basis of test suites that can be used to validate the implementation;
*Follow-up on the implementation, quality and adherence to the design;
*Ensure to keep up with technology evolution in general and specifically the set of technologies you're the architect for;
*Be the go-to-person for all questions about the set of technologies and products/solutions you're the architect for, including representing Anubex at prospects and customers for questions about these technologies and products/solutions;
In this role you work closely together with our Development Manager and existing architects.

Job profile:

You are an experienced programmer with a passion for technology who likes to research, design, communicate and document software solutions.

Considered a Must:
*At least 5 years of experience in a professional developer and/or architect role;
*An analytical mind that likes to tackle problems and cannot rest until a solution is found;
*Good programming skills in C and/or C++;
*Good verbal and written communication skills;
*Fluent in English;

Considered a Plus:

*Experience in designing and maintaining software products/solutions end-to-end (from requirements to production);
*Experience in working on migration solutions and projects;
*Experience with Legacy and modern technologies in the areas of OLTP, databases (network, hierarchical, relational), messaging, 4GLs and programming languages (such as Cobol and Assembler) in general;
*Experience in programming in Java and/or C#;
