Service Desk Engineer IT - Bxl & Lux

Client

On behalf of his client, Alpha Partners is looking for several IT Service Desk Engineer.

As IT service desk engineer, you provide technical support to back-offices (Belgium and Luxembourg) users and you maintain users' satisfaction with their IT working environment.
Function

To maintain the front-end IT infrastructure devices of our client’s offices and to ensure its proper functioning and reliabilities.
To collaborate with other Regional and worldwide Infrastructure teams for all back-end issues.
To manage order of local consumables and IT equipment.
Ensure adequate IT support is accessible for end user platforms
Improve user's satisfaction by proposing improvements to any kind of policies, systems, work instructions and processes
Change Management, problem management, incident management,
Application of information system security rules (rights, password changes, Group security recommendations),
To maintain proper inventory of companies ‘assets (software and hardware licenses)

Profile

Master or bachelor degree in ICT (or equivalent);
2 -5 years’ experience in a similar role in the sector;
Familiar with working in a Microsoft end-user regulated environment (Windows 7, MS Office, Outlook, etc.);
Excellent knowledge of VoIP/IP technology
You have to be fluent in English with a good working knowledge of Dutch or French
