Senior Solution Designer
Amandis is an experienced recruitment partner for market-leading employers throughout Belgium.
Our client is an international ICT service provider serving over 200 countries and territories. With a strong history of excellence, they are looking for a Senior Solution Designer, with experience in Cisco networking, to join their organization in Brussels.
As Senior Solution Designer, you will provide a key European customer and its partners with professional and effective proposals for the provision of our client’s solutions. You will drive new business opportunities by leveraging knowledge of networking and information technology. The role produces cost effective and deliverable solutions to customers, based on a detailed pre-sales review of customer requirements and a strong product knowledge. The commercial goals are to increase the overall customer satisfaction, to expand new business revenue, and to promote continuing revenue retention.
The role will require some European travel (1-2 times per month).
Key responsibilities will include:
Be the prime interface to customers on technical & commercial matters and lead customer engagements, from initial contact to solution deployment;
Establish and maintain a professional relationship with your customers;
Work with customers to better understand their business and develop sound solutions to meet the customer's business requirements;
Work closely with Account Directors to improve account development strategies;
Promote our client by furnishing your customers with comprehensive, up-to-date information on current products, product enhancements and new solutions, through customer meetings and workshops;
Design and co-ordinate the development of business solutions which may involve multiple parties both internally and externally;
Liaise with various internal stakeholders, such as Pricing, Customer Service, and Project Management, to build business case for customer proposals;
Own the technical and commercial parts of proposals submitted to customers;
Work closely with project manager to ensure efficient transfer of projects for implementation;
Collect and report on all customer service subscription parameters in order to analyze and identify potential customers' requirements and proactively work with customers to source for new opportunities;
Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in an ICT subject
Cisco certification (e.g. CCNP / CCIE) or the equivalent level of knowledge, is important
3-5 years of experience in a technical Pre-Sales role
Proven track record in producing, communicating, and documenting successful technical customer solutions proposals.
Knowledge of technical aspects within the Aviation industry is a plus, although not essential
Strong customer-facing and interpersonal skills
Strong presentation skills
Fluent in English and Flemish, or in English and French
