-You develop and maintain short term cash planning /forecasting & cash follow-up for the company.
-You develop and provide added-value reporting to finance management and performance control mechanisms (dashboard & KPI’s) to ensure optimal performance of the cash & bank accounting department.
-You ensure a correct and up-to-date Bank Management and Bank Administration for regional bank accounts of Delhaize Belgium: you are responsible for opening and closing local bank accounts, Bank Mandates, ..
-You maintain a cooperative relationship with other external payment providers and you control the invoicing flows for electronic payments and fund transportation.
-You are responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a set of comprehensive local cash & bank accountingpolicies and procedures as well as SOP’s for the cash & bank accounting team.
-You develop procedures for timely and correct closing activities related to cash and bank management and reconciliations, as well as for accurate accounting for all operational treasury/cash management related activities for the company.
-You ensure adherence to strong internal controls and control procedures and keep local policies and documentation up-to-date.
-You participate and give support to the manager in Treasury projects and Treasury system projects (SAP FICO).
-You contribute and strive for continuous improvement and standardization for the Cash & Bank Accounting team, this in strong cooperation with other departments from the company, such as IT, Treasury department headquarters, Credit management and Accounts payable department, in daily business as well as within improvement projects.
-You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Economics or Accountancy.
-You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a treasury, accounting, finance, consulting or financial audit function.
-You have a strong knowledge of Accounting rules (BEGaap, IFRS,…). Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
-You have excellent MS Office skills.
-You are trilingual Dutch, French, English.
-You are systematic, structured and accurate.
-You are a real problem solver and a team player.
-You are able to understand the interdependencies of the financial and operational aspects of the company.
-You are customer-minded.
