Job Description

Principal Accountabilities:

Business Leader - 30%
•Provide leadership globally to ensure business needs are prioritized and the resource requirements are understood and provided by HR Solutions (HRS)
•Lead the ongoing execution of the demand management process for identifying, prioritizing and deciding on demand fulfillment globally and in region
•Maintain extensive collaboration and communication between the Regional HRS Leader and Enterprise/Group/Function HR Leaders to ensure the on-going alignment of client priorities, expectations, resource availability and service delivery
•Define sourcing strategies and organize the project management support for strategic projects, including selection and vendor for project managers/PMO (third party vendor selection and management).
•Monitor the strategic projects to ensure compliance with budget, timing, commitment request and client expectations.
•Key advisory for capacity planning of the HRS resources for both execution of recurring needs and unique project based needs
•Responsible for aligning and deploying an Integrated business and demand planning calendar for the enterprise/function and HRS Teams
•Understand and communicate global business and HR strategies, priorities, drivers
•Advise HRS Leadership Team on potential risks and impacts to resourcing and delivery capabilities
•Be a primary go-to-person for global MADJV transactions to ensure resource requirements are understood and delivered at the right time
•Responsible for operationally reviewing on-going business demands globally to minimize capacity risks and identify proactive HR solution opportunities
•Collaborate with Regional Business Relationship & Demand Manager colleagues to anticipate and identify new opportunities for HR solutions and be opportunistic in creating new or additional demand
•Advise and articulate domain/country-specific requirements and resources to effectively help HR and Business leaders understand and address their priorities, challenges and opportunities

Talent Leader - 20%
•Lead the ongoing execution of the demand process across all regions and continuously improve its effectiveness by leading, developing, coaching and influencing key stakeholders
•Ensure HRS demand management resources are deployed and operational globally
•Set aggressive performance targets and ensure the achievement of the objectives
•Drive accountability and process improvement based on key client-focused performance metrics and targets across the regions
•Connect and collaborate with other Business Relationship and Regional Demand Managers to share best practices and achieve exceptional results

Change Leader - 15%
•Lead large scale organizational change and behaviors to achieve desired results; provide change leadership to the team of client partners as well as the partnering enterprises, business and functions for the (region) region
•Interface with regional HRS, HR COE’s, HR Business Partners and global processes to ensure service demands are well understood and clear service delivery expectations are in place across the regions
•Responsible for monitoring the Global HR Solution (GHRS) service delivery strategy across the regions to ensure proper utilization of the tiered service model
•Manage and respond to escalations in the broader global HR services and solutions prioritization efforts
•Inform HR leaders on KPIs, utilization rates, volume of services being provided and support the regional HRS leaders in allocation of resource decisions
•Provide feedback into service priorities to ensure client expectations are being met and/or exceeded
•Provide leadership, advocacy and support for Cargill Business Services (CBS) Migration activities, shared service consolidations and MADJV initiatives
•Ensure the consistent use and implementation of tools/technologies globally to gain efficiency in delivering HR Solutions

Culture Steward - 15%
•Partner with other functions serving similar clients to share knowledge, best practices, develop creative solutions, etc.
•Work with the GHRS Regional Leads to ensure effective delivery and coordination of HR activities
•Leverage and enforce global processes and technologies to support delivery of HR services
•Work in close partnership with CBS to deliver high quality, reliable and cost effective services
•Champion a strong continuous improvement culture to ensure deployment of scalable, simplified and standardized processes
•Establish a culture of accountability and measurement
•Express, model and reinforce a process-honoring culture

Value Leader - 20%
•Define, govern and continuously improve the end-to-end demand management process.
•Lead the process to monitor and report client-facing KPIs (i.e. Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias) by markets and businesses/functions globally
•Provide input in the definition of metrics, and monitor global performance of service quality metrics, client satisfaction scores and cost management
•Partner with regional Business Relationship Managers and HR Business Partners to influence how HR services are being utilized in alignment with the HR service delivery model
•Define, monitor and governing the flexible staffing strategies for GHRS.
•Partner with process owners and GHRS regional leads to address service delivery inefficiencies.


The purpose of the HR Solutions Global Demand Manager is to: 1) Provide leadership into the design of the end-to-end global demand management process, and lead the operational execution of the process, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement 2) Manage and provide governance to the global project portfolio for HR Solutions (HRS) 3) Manage and provide governance of client KPIs. This includes: a. Consolidating KPIs wherever possible to ensure consistency across enterprises, functions and geographies b. Measure, analyze and report KPIs to applicable HRS, enterprise, group and function HR leaders In addition, the HRS resources, projects, addressing major issues, reviewing overall HRS performance and making things happen.
