Our Enterprise Risk Services (ERS) practice is a global leader in helping clients manage risk and uncertainty from the boardroom to the network. We provide a broad array of services that allow our clients around the world to better measure, manage and control risk to enhance the reliability of systems and processes throughout their organization.

Deloitte's Software Asset Management (SAM) team focusses on software license compliance in the broad sense. On the one hand, we help software vendors with assessing the effective licensing position of their customers. As part of these software vendor license compliance programs, we work with their customers in a collaborative way to determine whether their software deployments are in line with the contractual terms and conditions. On the other hand, we proactively help companies directly with managing their software deployments and licenses through creating baselines, and defining processes and procedures which help optimize their effective licensing position, and their IT budget, in the long run.

As a SAM Consultant Oracle you will:
Work on SAM engagements for Oracle and other software vendors. You will be based in Belgium, but will serve companies throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa, which means that you will travel on a regular basis.
Work together with a team of SAM specialists to cover all vendor related licensing matters (IBM, Microsoft, etc) and are able to project manage SAM engagements to completion, from kick-off to deliverables.
o Coach junior team members, provide guidance, and follow-up on their deliverables
o Monitor project timelines
o Manage project financials
o Report progress to senior colleagues and to customers
o Lead client meetings throughout the process
Be the first point of contact in relation to Oracle licensing matters. You will be gain knowledge of SAM tooling (SNOW, Flexera, ).
Actively approach the market with our Software Asset Management offering and engage in proposals, workshops and proof-of-concepts.

You have 2-6 years of experience in performing Oracle software license compliance or SAM engagements.
You have a master in IT or business with a strong affinity in IT.
Desirable knowledge of and experience with the application of IT management and business methods/techniques such as ITIL, ASL, BiSL, COBIT, ISPL, ISO20000.
You are aware of general concepts of Software Asset Management; Software Asset Management or licensing certifications such as IAITAM CSAM or MCP 70-672 are a plus.
Your approach is client- and result-oriented.
You have an analytical mindset.
You are a teamplayer and are able to guide more junior colleagues.
You are fluent in English, and Dutch or French.
