KU Leuven has a team of more than 90 driven SAP professionals. We are working on a project to further automate the administration of the KULeuven and associated institutions. We follow the new SAP developments and releases on the feet (Netweaver 7.0) and support the administrative processes of the different domains. It uses a lot of SAP modules Finance (FI, CO, FM, PS); Logistics (MM, SD, RE-FX, PM, FI-CA, EH & S); Staff (PA, PD, WS, PY, HCM); Research (PS); SLCM (education and student processes); CRM and SRM.In addition, we provide Web applications (built using BSP, Webdynpro ABAP, SAP UI5) for our occasional users (students, professors, other staff) and offer it via the SAP Enterprise Portal. Our BI team provides the data warehouse environment (BW 3.5. And Business Objects). Last year we started the implementation of SAP HANA, SAP NW Gateway (for mobile applications) and we are investigating the possibilities of the AIF (Application Interface Framework), SAP Screen Personas, document presentment and Extended ECM.
Senior Analyst Developer SAP ABAP
Analyst developer SAP ABAP will participate in the various SAP-related projects:
You translate functional specifications into a good engineering design.
You analyze technical and programmatic problems.
You make detailed engineering designs for their own and others by building software building blocks.
You build, develops and implements software modules (function modules, reports, transactions, interfaces, forms, etc.).
You test, monitor and ensure the quality of their own or others created software building blocks.
You are partly responsible for the maintenance of existing software components.
You document their own programs and participates in test scenarios and end-user documentation.
You constantly consults with other team members.
You build continuously expertise in the possibilities of all kinds of software development tools and techniques.
You hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or have the same level acquired by experience.
1 to 2 years relevant working experience with one or more programming languages (eg. Java) and SAP development tools such as ABAP and BSP is a recommendation.
You are familiar oriented programming with the methodology of the object.
You work structured, accurate, fast and efficient.
You are conscientiously and performance-and have a sense of order and quality.
You can function both independently and in a team.
You are stress resistant and can handle increased workload during peak periods.
You have consistent good knowledge of Dutch and you can express yourself fluently in English.
Full-time employment for an indefinite period in a fascinating environment, coupled with a salary in grade 5 or 6, 7 exceptional degree, depending on your relevant experience and skills.
