Technical Support Engineer
Introduction:


For our client, an international high tech company with headquarters in Kortrijk (Belgium) we are looking for a passionate Technical Support Engineer Our client is specialized in state of the art visualization products for both entertainment, business and medical purposes. Working from the headquarters, you are at the source of change and innovation. You will be part of the division responsible for their wireless presentation and collaboration system, and more specific the sub team that builds the applications. Together with a team of experienced developers you are involved in the development of both applications and embedded software on all products within the department.

 

Description:


In your new jobs, your main tasks will be:

Analyzing technical problems which are reported via phone, e-mail or internet by customers, partners or customer service engineers.
Provide feedback to the service requester on the status of the problem, corrective actions taken and anticipated resolution time and estimated cost
Resolve issues through ordering the necessary resources, both material and labor, after verifying technical compatibility, logistical possibilities and required competencies.
Detect quality issues and forward all relevant information to the appropriate escalation channel.
Provide information to the rest of the organization in case of escalation.
Review result of corrective actions.
In some cases, perform scheduled/emergency on-site service repairs and be on stand-by via telephone on weekend days.
 

Profile:


Technical bachelor or master, or equivalent through experience
Good networking experience
Experience with Salesforce and/or CRM SAP is a plus
Good knowledge of English and French (orally and written) is a must
Service and client oriented
