Job Description

Qualifications and experience:       
You have a degree level qualification (BSc, Licence, HND, HNC, BTS, DUT, Bachelor, Meister, Vordiplom, Perito, Laurea Triennale, Diplomatura, Ingeniera Técnica or equivalent) in computing.

You have solid and  extensive experience in both Java and PHP development, including the use of frameworks and Javascript.      

Some database experience (Oracle, mysql, SQLServer, etc.) would be appreciated.

Language skills:

As an international research centre, we are particularly keen to ensure that we also attract applicants from outside France. You must have a sound knowledge of English and be willing to learn French (a language course will be paid for by the ILL). Knowledge of German would be an advantage.

As a member of the System Applications & Infrastructure group in charge of providing and supporting applications and software for the administrative activities of the ILL, your role will be to: Maintain, provide user support for and further develop a subset of the administrative applications in use at the ILL Participate in or take charge of the selection and deployment of new software packages purchased on the market Assist with or perform the development and installation of in-house software on request.
