Your responsibilities would include:
Leading system development tasks, including the design, integration, and formal testing of customer programs from the start-up phase to the final release
Developing and selecting new test methods, developing test tools, theoretical studies, etc.
Ensuring that the component design meets all performance, quality, and manufacturing requirements
Providing technical support and advice to customers and suppliers
Creating and negotiating specifications, product briefs and technical documentation
Developing and managing specific program engineering tools, for example:
Technical risk assessment and management
FMEA, test validation plan and process control plan
Creating and tracking the internal engineering timing plan
You would need to meet the following requirements:
An academic degree in an engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, or physics is desired)
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, contract documentation, and government/industry standards and specifications
A demonstrated familiarity with data acquisition systems, data analysis and processing
Knowledge of standard business software products (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Windows XP etc.)
Fluency in English and German/Italian are required, any other language is considered as an asset
Strong coordination, organization and communication skills
The ability to work autonomously in an international environment, creativity, team spirit and a pro-active attitude are imperative
