IT Field Services Engineer
Full time, Antwerp
Your tasks:

Windows client administration, support on Microsoft Office products
Manage notebooks
Fault analyst on client- infrastructure failures, investigate on outages of computers,  phones and software
Management of GDS licenses, mainly Amadeus     
Plan, coordinate and implement of opening, relocation or closing of offices
Install, relocate or maintenance of hardware, install onsite, cabling and patching and assist 3rd level IT departments with remote eyes & hands
Your profile:

3-4 years experience of working within a customer facing support environment, ideally working in a European subsidiary or a multi-national organization
Good verbal and written English and French skills, Dutch or German is a plus
Experience in Windows Client/Server domains (Active Directory)
Experience in network technology (TCP/IP, VPN, VLan, VOIP)
Experience in automated software distribution tools
Knowledge of Travel Industry and GDS is a preference
Very good human and social skills
Advanced knowledge of PC hard- and software, Windows 7, MS Office, internet and intranet
High initiative to continuously improve IT environment by standards
Ability to work under pressure and dealing with conflicts
Willingness to travel, depending per project but usually not more than once a month

This role is based in our BCD Travel office in Antwerp.

Role

As the IT Field Services engineer, you are responsible for implementation of changes within local and virtual IT infrastructures, in cooperation with other IT teams. You interact with the first line support entities and other 2nd or 3rd line support entities like other ICT Infrastructure teams. You serve operational and non-operational end users within BCD Travel and help to resolve their IT related incidents or requirements. The team of Field Services is a virtual and flexible team. This role is based in Antwerp and the other 2nd and 3rd line support entities are based in Hamburg, Luxembourg and Hull.
