GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION

Reporting to the Sr Director, Marketing Communication EMEA, the Digital Manager is responsible to drive the development of the EMEA digital strategy and support the implementation of the agreed upon GBU programs / initiatives and activate, measure and optimize all digital activities, including web, social and mobile applications. The Digital Manager, EMEA will provide digital and social media support across all business units in a regional capacity.

The Digital Manager EMEA will work closely with the regional and global marketing teams to build and deliver online campaigns, providing analytics reports and recommendations. The incumbent will also be responsible for implementing the agreed upon lead generation and management process. This position will also maintain regional websites and support the migration of regional digital assets to centralized global platforms. The Digital Manager EMEA will support the development and roll out of mobile applications and manage all regional digital agency relationships to ensure they are delivering on expectations.

The Digital Manager EMEA will be responsible for the EMEA digital strategy, this includes project planning, implementation within the agreed upon digital platform, analysis, measurement, ROI calculation and budget management.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

Communication Management
•Develop EMEA digital strategy to be implemented by EMEA in concert with GBU strategic direction to generate leads and engagements with distribution and end users
•Plan and implement digital multi-channel communication strategy for our key initiatives, in support of agreed upon business priorities / campaigns and in line with corporate and GBU guidelines.
•Primary expertise and focus on digital and social media communication and campaigns, with specific analytics around programmatic buying, knowledge of current activity trends and measurement analytics.
•Apply the combination of design, development and writing skills to the creation of engaging content and innovative design across all digital channels (website, intranet site, social channels and mobile)
•Devise strategies to grow website traffic and track conversion rates
•Constantly research new digital trends, platforms and experiences that can inform planning, audience development and drive innovation.
•Monitor regional online conversations related to Ansell in all social media channels including Twitter, FB, blogs, forums, YouTube, etc.
•Run paid, owned and earned marketing efforts that increase customer base and revenue streams; seize opportunities in real-time to engage in conversations where relevant.
•Define, analyze and optimize communication performance on an ongoing basis to ensure effective ROI on all media and promotion executions.
•Tracks and monitors analytics using Google webmaster tools, and CRM/ESP analytics as well as social monitoring tools to make improvements and better engage target audience
•Collaborate with Sr. Mgmt. and GBU to create a social media strategy that represents best practices in social media advertising.
•Analyze and report on performance of social media channels and viral/social content; recommend and share best practices and strategies for continued growth and optimization.
•Responsible to manage and support our EMEA digital agencies
•Be an active participant and contributor to Digital Council meeting.
•Collaborate with his / her peers in other regions and the CBD team to ensure consistency in the approach and share best practices
•Responsible for budget planning and adherence
•Monitor and report competitive activity in social media and websites

A&P Budget
•Management of digital communication budget (Communication, Analytics)
•Budget reporting against expenditures and commitments on a monthly basis for the assigned markets

Legal and Code of Conduct Compliance
•Ensure all digital executions in compliance with Ansell Code of Conduct and adhering to EU laws and regulations. Responsible for obtaining all approvals before executing initiatives.


Desired Skills and Experience

KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES

Education
•Four-year college degree, preferably in Marketing or Business
•CIM or other professional marketing qualification advantageous

Job Experience
•3 to 5+ years in digital marketing
•Experience measuring performance, creating dashboards, and drawing insights for further optimization, using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, etc.
•Experience with complex CMS systems (sitecore/drupal).
•Experience with digital marketing tactics such as email marketing, SEO/SEM, PPC.
•Computer literate in Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus.
•Experience/strong understanding of CRM & marketing automation preferred.
•Exposure or understanding of web architecture advantageous, such as front-end/back-end systems, web API, integrations, databases etc.
•English fluent; any additional European language is an asset
•Ideally the incumbent has expertise in international markets & social media.
