Job Description

Currently we have an opportunity for a Market Research Intelligence Manager, West to join our team.  Reporting to the Market Research Intelligence Manager EMEA, based in our office in Diegem, Belgium.

The primary purpose of the position

  • Provide the Western organization (specifically Sales & Marketing (S&M) Director), with high quality (insightful, actionable, reliable and timely) market, customer and consumer data.
  • Leads the Western European MRI team (~5 associates) and coordinates MRI activities in the countries across different geographies in alignment with MRI EMEA (PBU) ensuring maximum alignment across EMEA. Builds and retains MRI expertise and talent in the Western European MRI Team
  • Coordinate, Analyze and manages above data for the WEST In order to enable things like: assessment of our sales and marketing activities effectiveness, identification of opportunities for improvement, provide insights for necessary changes, exploration of new opportunities and drive fact-based decision-making through the organization.
  • Provide S&M WEST and MRI EMEA (Product Business Unit (PBU)) with Accurate Industry monthly forecast at WEST and country level with clear Reasons to believe. Provide overall S&OP analysis and support.

  The mandate of the MRI Manager West will have the following principle duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead, analyze and report results of EMEA standard as well as ad-hoc studies for the Western organization and the consumer PBU.
  • Identify Strategy & Methods  market information needs together with S&M Director WEST.
  • Own the WEST Replacement Industry forecast and Lead the country Industry forecast alignment. Lead and motivate the Western European MRI team, skill development, coaching, and providing feedback to people with differing goals, objectives, functional backgrounds, and developmental needs in line with EMEA MRI guidelines.
  • Advise & provide recommendations to WEST and Country management based on market data and research results. Actively drive the integration of market data & knowledge (consumer and customer's voice) within the WEST, respecting regional guidance and process
  • Lead RvCC analysis for WEST and RTB for 5 years projections.

 
Desired Skills and Experience

Experience

• At least 5 years experience in marketing or market research.

Education

• Master degree in either Marketing, Business or Economics

 Knowledge and skills

• Proven ability to manage ad hoc international projects
• Previous experience in an international environment
• Thorough understanding of the market research business in planning and execution
• Extensive knowledge of research methodologies, statistics and analysis techniques
• Experience or knowledge of tire industry, products and market is an additional asset
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, leadership, planning/process management
• Good communication/Convincing/ Interpersonal skills

 
Languages

• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Good level of French being an asset.

Location

This position will be based in Diegem (Belgium).
