Huntsman is currently recruiting for a Global Supply Chain Manager to lead a team of Regional Supply Chain Managers to work as part of the Global Leadership Team within our TPU division. Reporting to the Global Operations Manager this role will be responsible for minimizing global TPU inventories whilst ensuring service levels remain consistent within a rapidly developing industry and to develop and lead the Supply Chain Strategy.
Additionally, as the Global Supply Chain Manager, you will:
Be responsible for global TPU stocks and service levels measured as DIO, Stock volume and Stock Value
Ensure the supply strategy has a successful balance between make-to-stock and make-to-order products whilst minimizing ‘Slow Move’ inventory
Ensure processes are harmonised throughout the business, from Supply Chain professionals to internal Customer Service teams, allowing for data analysis and comparison.
Promoting best practices within the TPU supply chain to ensure agreed effectiveness and customer satisfaction levels
Manage short and long term asset planning and the optimization of global TPU Finished Goods flows
Prevent Slow Move stocks by managing an effective Supply Strategy within the regions & to minimize write offs.
Work with Site Managers in Europe, China and the US to help develop the Global Operations Strategy
Degree qualification in a Logistics, Business (or similar) discipline with over 10 years’ experience in managing a specialty products Supply Chain.
A MBA in business economics and/or APICS, CPIM / CSCP certification is desirable but not essential
The ability to build strong working relationships with Regional Sales Teams and manage a global team of Supply Chain Managers
Excellent change management skills with a strong background in Supply Chain improvement and cost reduction programs whilst maximising customer service levels
An understanding of the Chemical sector is desirable however B2B experience is essential.
Fluency in English is essential
