Translate the European marketing strategy into local consumer marketing activities which contribute to the profitable growth of the banana category in the Belux.Develop consumer marketing activity plan per project / customer in cooperation with the local marketing & sales team.
Develop in collaboration with the Marketing Manager local ATL & BTL activation programs incl. PR and take care of implementation.
Develop Benelux Facebook calendar and media plan. Supervise local content management. React on posts to which local Social media agency is not able to respond.
Support sales department in trade presentations.
Budget management of consumer marketing activities (JDE)
Monitor and evaluate execution and results of consumer marketing activities.
Analyze brand researches (i.e. Brand Health Tracker).
Understand current Chiquita VBID and brand guidelines and ensure HQ has visibility and final approval on all localized assets and communication.

Responsible for content of consumer website www.chiquita.be
Responsible for local sponsoring activities.
Responsible for PO creation.
Responsible for meeting reports of Sales/Marketing meetings.
The BAM is part of the Benelux marketing team (3,5fte) and reports to the Marketing Manager Benelux who is based in the Netherlands.
4) Language skills
Dutch, English and French
Bachelor degree in Economics (marketing related field) with a minimum of 5 years in a consumer marketing position in an organized Fast Moving Consumer Goods company. Fresh produce and Benelux market knowledge is a preference.

The Brand Activation Manager Belux (BAM) is responsible for the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of all consumer marketing activities for Chiquita bananas in Belgium and Luxembourg (BELUX).
The BAM uses various (local) marketing tools to strengthen the brand and activate consumers to buy more Chiquita bananas within various sales channels mainly retail and fruit & vegetable shops.
The BAM is based in the local Belgian office (BE) and will work closely with the Trade Marketing Manager Benelux and sales team (Retail, wholesale, OOH), with local agency partners and with the central marketing team (Consumer Insights, Brand Activation) to meet corporate business targets.
